Brazilian Girls - Brazilian Girls (2005)

Brazilian Girls (no one in the band is actually Brazilian and only the singer is a girl but who really cares?) is an amazing band from New York City. They incorporate a very electronic feel into everything they do but seem to adopt different styles for each song ranging from latin to reggae to jazz and more. The singer, Sabina Sciubba, will make you fall in love with her because of her beautiful voice and witty lyrics (not to mention shes very beautiful). She also speaks 5 different languages and switches between songs and sometimes uses multiple languages in one song. One song, Me Gustas Cuando Callas, is actually a Pablo Neruda poem that they kind of cover and make it their own with amazing results. Definitely give this album a shot.
