Lightning Bolt - Hypermagic Mountain (2005)

I've declared April 23 "Extreme Music Day". Mostly because I'm bored but I also feel that its a good idea. Anyway, I hope you all remember Lightning Bolt because theres more. This is their 4th album and it'll kick your ass. There are only a few songs where the intensity lulls but other than that you may get a headache (I mean that in the best way possible). I still cant get over how its just a bassist and a drummer rocking out this hard. This truly is noise rock at its finest.
